If you run an online clothing brand or are thinking about starting one, you’ve probably faced this—creating product mockups takes forever. You start with a plain t-shirt, drop in your design, adjust the placement, and hope it looks natural enough to grab attention. For small brands or solo creators, that process can eat up way too much time.
One of my clients reached out with a very real problem. They wanted to create t-shirt mockups fast, but still make them look professional enough for ads, catalogs, and online listings. They didn’t want to switch between multiple design tools or wait for designers every time they added a new product. That’s when I decided to build something smarter.
I created an AI T-shirt Mockup Studio using Google AI Studio. I vibe-coded the project from start to finish, mixing creative idea flow with Gemini AI’s generative magic. The goal was simple—make t-shirt mockups in minutes, not hours, while keeping the results realistic and high quality.
How It Works
- Step 1. Visit the App
Go to https://tshirt-mockup-studio-ai.vercel.app/ to start your mockup project. - Enter the Gemini API key
The app connects to Google’s Gemini AI so it can process and blend graphics smoothly.
- Add a t-shirt from the catalog and upload your design
You can start by picking from a list of blank t-shirts. Then, drag and drop your design file right into the interface.
- Adjust the settings on the right panel

This is where the real control comes in. You can move and resize the design, fine-tune the placement, or tweak the lighting. One of my favorite touches is the “design intensity” slider, which controls how deeply the design blends into the fabric texture. It’s small, but it makes a big difference. - Click “Attach with AI”

Once you’re happy with your setup, hit the button and let AI do the rest. It instantly attaches your design to the t-shirt fabric, keeping the folds, shadows, and lighting natural. The output looks photo-real and ready to use. - Upscale and download
When the mockup looks perfect, you can upscale it to a higher resolution and download it for your marketing materials or online store. No extra editing tools needed.
This project showed how much power AI tools now bring to creators and small businesses. A process that once took a designer hours can now be done in a few clicks. I wanted to make something that keeps the creative part fun but removes all the repetitive technical work behind it.
Now, I use this mockup studio for client demos and quick product visuals whenever needed. It’s fast, reliable, and easy for anyone to use, even without design experience. AI handled the heavy lifting, and I just guided the vibe.
